Unit 8: Management of Early Years Practice 

A manager or deputy manager's job involves much more than a good knowledge of child care and planning to meet children's needs. This course is designed to equip managers working in childcare with the skills needed to achieve excellence when working with children, staff and parents.

Course Content

Effective managers also need to know about early learning goals planning, child development, child behaviour, child protection issues. Successful communication, being able to work in partnership with parents and managing staff effectively are also essential.
